Do you remember your dreams as a child? Do you remember what you wanted to be when you grew up? Studies have shown that most people envision the life of a hero, living a life of significance.
Even today the top grossing movies are about heroes or Super Heroes. That is why we like Batman, Superman, Ironman or Wonder Woman.
It is easy to dream about a life that you have not yet lived. We have a longing to live lives that make a difference. When asked, the Millennial generation states that they want to do something that will make a difference in this world even at the cost of living large and making lots of money.
And to be honest with you, that is the easy side of the question.
But what about when you are living your life or in some cases looking back on a life lived. What do you want to look back upon? What do you want people to say about you? How do you want to answer this question:
Did I live a life of significance?
Our third week in the Cycle of Grace now moves to the output side of the equation. And in doing so we again will look at Jesus as get an idea of what a significant life looks like so we can model ours after his.
