Knowing the Difference

Do you know the difference?  If I handed you two $100 bills, could you tell the real thing from the counterfeit?  Now apart from Ben Franklin wearing a pair of his bi-focals, could you recognize the real deal?

Well, it is the same way about knowing the gospel message, about knowing Scripture.  For example:

• How many times is the word “whale” used in Jonah?
• Who is the famous King of Israel who is mentioned in 1 Hezekiah?
• What Gospel doesn’t have a version of the Great Commission?
• What is the heading (NIV Heading) above verse 8 in Mark 17?

This week we will come to know the difference between the true gospel and the counterfeit.  And the Apostle John goes to great length in telling us the fool proof way of “Knowing the difference.”  So come and allow the words of I John transform you in this New Year!
